A folksinger/songwriter since she was 17, Rita MacNeil recorded the separate album Born a female in 1975. Two even more independent LPs implemented (Area of the Secret in 1981 and I’m Not really What I Seem in 1983) before she agreed upon with Virgin and released Traveling by yourself in 1987. An associate of the Purchase of Canada since 1992, MacNeil in addition has released Reason to trust (1988), Rita (1989), Today the Bells Band (1989), Home I’M GOING TO BE (1990), Thinking about You (1992) as soon as upon a Xmas (1993).
