Rick Vincent was created in San Bernadino, CA, but raised within the honky tonk hotbed of Bakersfield. It had been right here that he honed the mixture of thoughtful lyricism, soulful vocals, and shuffling, beery country-rock that he debuted with 1993’s A Wished Man (Capitol). However, despite some graph success using the line-dance preferred “Hello, She Lied,” Vincent’s burgeoning profession being a trad nation troubadour proceeded to go nowhere fast. Undeterred, he stepped off-stage and centered on songwriting. 2 yrs afterwards, Lonestar charted with “Heartbroke Everyday,” co-written by Vincent with Costs LaBounty and Cam Ruler.
