Not content to create lots of the tracks and handle fifty percent the guitars for Virginia-based stone-rockers Alabama Thunder Pussy, the restless Erik Larson made a decision to guy the drums and vocals for power trio side-project Axehandle, which is coincidentally completed simply by full-time ATP bandmates Ryan Lake about guitars and bass, and Bryan Cox doubling through to drums and percussion. Certainly a studio business until further see, Axehandle used their dual percussion features and a lot of tribal rhythms for an eclectic eponymous debut for Little Stone, offering metallic grooves, laid-back blues-rock, psychedelic details, and stories of murder.
