Res (pronounced Reese) released her debut record, How I REALLY DO, in 2001. The combination of hip-hop, rock and roll, and spirit (the hip-hop impact being probably the most prominent) was generally made by Doc, who acquired done Esthero’s 1998 discharge, Breathing From Another. Ahead of this debut, RES, blessed and elevated in Philadelphia’s suburbs, sang on GZA’s Under the Surface area and performed visitor vocals for Talib Kweli & Hi there Tek’s Representation Eternal.
