Red Dogs

This blues-based UK rock ‘n’ roll quintet was formed in 1989 by Mickey ‘The Vicar’ Ripley (vocals) and Chris John (guitar). Enlisting the providers of Mick Teen (bass), Paul Guerin (electric guitar) and Stow (drums), the music group signed to Event Records the next calendar year. They debuted with Incorrect Side Of City, a six-track providing that had taken the Rolling Rocks as its principal influence. The Crimson Dogs elevated their profile by helping Inexpensive And Nasty and UFO on the 1991 UK travels. Acquiring their infectious make of bar-room boogie to a more substantial stage initially demonstrated successful, though soon after they didn’t heighten their profile considerably. Ripley departed and produced Josh in 1996.
