Ransom Wilson

Ransom Wilson can be an American flautist and conductor who established his status in the 1980s interpreting music of so-called ‘minimalist’ composers. Steve Reich’s Vermont Counterpoint was created for him. With time, Wilson flipped more toward performing as an avocation, and is generally viewed as the maestro at Lincoln Middle. He has documented both within the flute and with the ‘stay’ for EMI and Delos.
