Tropical singer/producer Ramon Baez, also called La Fiera, got involved with music when he joined up with Cuco Valoy’s orchestra at age 12, later on teaming up with Jerry Vargas and Los Hermanos Rosario. After shifting towards the U.S., Ramon Baez participated in New York’s La Gran Manzana, quickly becoming a member of Miami-based La Gran Unión. Within the middle-’90s, the designer went by himself, founding a label known as La Fiera Productions, self-producing his debut recording in 1995.
