Puss N Boots

Created in 2008, Puss N Shoes was a longtime busman’s holiday for Norah Jones, Sasha Dobson, and Catherine Popper. In the beginning designed for Jones and Dobson to understand how exactly to play acoustic guitar, Popper became a member of the duo very little later and, for a long time, the trio performed various NY clubs, training a repertoire anchored in Americana — nation and folk and jazz, mainly in the mid-century but also achieving back previously and afterwards — plus they started to get some good national recognition in the heels of the cover from the Band’s “Twilight” performed at a memorial for the past due Levon Helm. In 2013, some five years following the group started playing, they agreed upon with Blue Take note and then lay out on assembling their debut record. Made up of originals and addresses, studio room recordings and live shows, that debut was known as No Fools, No Fun; released in the summertime of 2014, it had been supported with a tour from the U.S.
