Philippe Quint

Russian-born violinist Philippe Quint established his musical gifts at a age and gave his 1st orchestral performance like a soloist when he was 9. He relocated to america in 1991 and gained his bachelors and experts levels from Juilliard. Although his repertoire contains the standard single and chamber functions for violin, he offers made something of the specialty of modern American composers. His recordings consist of functions by Rorem, Bernstein, Corigliano, Thomson, and Foss, and his documenting from the William Schuman Violin Concerto received two Grammy nominations in 2002.
