Phil Davis

The son of the piano and trumpet player, Phil Davis has generated his own legacy like a highly-demanded session player and bandleader. Furthermore to performing using the Phil Davis Quartet and multi-genre group, The Chronicle, Davis offers performed with Will Downing, Jonathan Butler, George Duke, Rachelle Farrell, Gerald Albright, Boney Wayne and Najee. An imaginative composer, Davis published the title tabs on Boney Wayne’ 1999 recording, BODY GESTURES, two music on Alex Bugnon’s 2000 recording, As Guaranteed and two items on the past due George Howard’s 1998 outing, Midnight Feeling, which he created. Davis created and performed on three songs on Al Jarreau’s 2000 recording, Tomorrow Today. In the beginning taught to try out the piano and trumpet by his dad, Davis added the French horn in senior high school. Carrying on his research at Clark-Atlantic University or college, where he gained a Bachelor’s level in music education, he performed using the school’s jazz orchestra in the Montreaux Jazz Event as well as the North Ocean Jazz Event.
