Phalanx

Short-lived though it had been, the middle-80s band Phalanx lives about due to the information it made as well as the inspiration it gave to various other musicians. It had been a powerhouse group that provided its members similar stakes. The four people had been George Adams (b. 29 Apr 1940, Covington, Georgia, USA, d. 14 November 1992, NEW YORK, NY, USA), Adam ‘Bloodstream’ Ulmer (b. 2 Feb 1942, St. Matthews, SC, USA), Sirone (b. Norris Jones, 28 Sept 1940, Atlanta, Georgia, USA) and Rashied Ali (b. Robert Patterson, 1 July 1935, Philadelphia, Pa, USA). There have been no superstars with support group, rather Phalanx was some sort of collective soloists display. The effect was brilliant and exhilarating music that emerged and went, just like the music group itself, with all the current sudden energy of the passing comet.
