Peter Dunton

Drummer/vocalist Peter Dunton appeared in the crest of stardom when he was tapped to displace initial drummer Louis Farrell in Weapon, a past due-’60s Uk psychedelic/progressive music group featuring brothers Adrian and Paul Gurvitz. Although he showed up too past due to play within the band’s many successful documenting, “Race Using the Devil,” his hard-hitting syncopation helped to transform the band’s 1969 recording, Gunsight, into among the unsung classics of past due-’60s English psychedelia. Forming an identical music group, T2, with bassist Mike Foster and guitarist Ray Lee a couple of months after Gun’s demise, Dunton released an recording, It’ll All WORKOUT in Boomland, in 1970. Although he documented several subsequent music using the group, including an individual made by Dave Edmunds, and a single single, “Acquiring Period” b/w “Still Puzzled,” Dunton didn’t meet up with his early potential and faded into obscurity.
