Pete Siers

From the Polish-American family members, Pete Siers’ first contact with music originated from hearing polkas in the home. Beginning piano lessons at age 6, he continuing using the ivories until he noticed the US Military Big Band using a drummer who impressed Siers to the idea that he turned to drums. Siers gained a music level from Aquinas University where he used the jazz ensemble. In 1984, he became a member of the John Shea Trio and moved on to try out with Detroit pianist Eddie Russ, starting the entranceway to gigs and documenting periods with such Detroit music artists as Paul Keller, Bess Bonnier and blues and boogie woogie piano participant Mr. B. Since 1987, Siers is a person in the Keller-Kocher Quartet, which released its first record Midnight Sunlight in 1993. Drummer Siers can be an original person in the creative Parrot of Heaven Orchestra. This prize winning aggregation has primary, obscure and traditional big band materials from all intervals of jazz background. The Orchestra offers documented 3 albums for the B.O.P.O label. The maiden recording from the Pete Siers Trio THOSE THAT Choose to Golf swing was also cut because of this label and released in 1999. Siers is definitely comfortable with almost any design of jazz music. Furthermore to carrying out with big rings and small organizations, he offers performed with music artists representing dissimilar designs, including Lee Konitz, Sonny Lot of money, Doc Cheatham, Frank Morgan and Warren Vache. He offers appeared in the North Ocean, Playboy, Sunfest along with other main jazz festivals in america and European countries. Siers also mind Los Gatos, a Latin jazz quintet offering the music of Cal Tjader as well as the Pete Siers Quartet, which explores innovative improvisional material.
