Peninha

Having a lot more than 100 documented compositions, Peninha acquired his music “Sonhos” and “Sozinho” documented by Caetano Veloso with enormous success. Other performers who have documented his tracks are Fábio Jr., Sandra de Sá, Tim Maia, João Paulo e Daniel, Negritude Jr., Só Pra Contrariar, Alcione, José Augusto, Paul Mauriat, Elymar Santos, Wando, Marisa Monte, Mina, Paulinho Moska, Raça Negra, Roupa Nova, Roberta Miranda, Daniel, and Renata Arruda. In 1972 he documented an individual through RCA. After additional ignored works, he previously a large strike with “Sonhos,” which offered 400,000 copies after having been contained in the soundtrack from the Rede Globo cleaning soap opera Sem Lenço, Sem Documento (1977). The music had many re-recordings, including one by Caetano Veloso in 1982. It had been also documented in Spanish, staying for half a year at number 1 for the Argentinean graphs. “Sozinho,” once again documented by Caetano (Prenda Minha), was the theme of it Globo cleaning soap opera Suave Veneno and offered 1,000,000 copies in 1999.
