Panama

Australian digital project Panama spans the dance-oriented spectrum, through the funk of Popular Chip towards the indie dance-rock of Bastille. The task of Jarrah McCleary (vocals, secrets, acoustic guitar), Panama’s debut EP IT ISN’T Over used an icy digital disco twist on indie rock and roll, just like Penguin Jail, RAC, and Goldroom. A yr later on, on 2013’s Constantly, McCleary revealed a lushly created, well informed vibe, and refined restraint. Two following singles adopted the same route: 2014’s “Stay Forever” integrated big pop/rock and roll, while 2015’s “Jungle” showcased a slow-burning hip-hop defeat. The warmly introspective solitary “Expect Something” found its way to April 2017.
