Paint Branch

Years following the dissolution of their post-hardcore indie music group Q rather than U, Washington, D.C. mainstays Chris Richards and John Davis regrouped this year 2010 and started work on fresh songs beneath the name Color Branch. Richards have been operating solo beneath the moniker Ris-Paul-Ric, and Davis have been playing in the short-lived power pop group Georgie Wayne and once they break up, began the group Name Songs. Unlike the dancey sass of their early-oughts group collectively, or the even more spirited various tasks they done individually afterwards, Color Branch focused even more on subdued and thoughtful strategy, causing the velvety audio of mellow ’70s vocalist/songwriters. The duo done songs for just two years before documenting their debut recording I Wanna Live, that was released in early 2013. The duo adopted up with a self-titled EP in middle-2015.
