Outer Spaces

Outer Spaces may be the name from the electric powered guitar-based indie vocalist/songwriter task of Cara Beth Satalino. The musician self-released an EP under her very own name in 2008 entitled The Good Types, which noticed a vinyl discharge three years afterwards by Bakery Shop and Salinas Information. In the meantime, her short-lived music group Witches released the record Forever in 2011, also with Bakery Shop. The initial Outer Spaces discharge, the six-track Creature of Character EP, was documented in the songwriter’s after that bottom of Athens, Georgia and released in early 2013. Afterwards that season, Matador Information included the music group in its Singles Heading House “single-of-the-month” series, issuing “I USED TO BE Divided/Eternally Fifteen” on 7″ vinyl fabric. With engineer/manufacturer Chester Gwazda (Dan Deacon) on bass and tips, and Ben Salie (the Pinecones) on drums, the Garbage Seaside EP implemented in 2014 via Salinas and Stupid Handbag Records. Similar to confessional guitar works like Waxahatchee and Palehound, the record was documented in Athens and Satalino’s recently followed Baltimore, Maryland, aswell as with Pennington, NJ. Citing Murmur-era R.E.M. as an impact, Outer Areas’ full-length debut, A Shedding Snake, showed up via Don Giovanni Information in 2016, with Gwazda in the producer’s seat.
