Dord

Experimental artist Jeffrey B. Jackson performs frequently beneath the alias of Dord, and because the past due ’80s, has attemptedto break further fresh sonic place with each following documenting. Dord’s debut documenting, The Dismal Noises of Dord, was an off-the-wall collection put together more than a six calendar year period, that highlighted such oddities as recordings of psychiatric individual interviews, scratched information, and a good few surprisingly enhanced compositions. Further produces soon followed, like the ambient-like albums Test and Debate and Schwersystem, in addition to the recurring and mechanised De Re Metallica, the feedback-drenched Super-Sonic Misery, Paris in the Planting season (which spotlighted Parisian field recordings), as well as the self-explanatory Live at Macy’s. If you want your music obscure and intensely experimental, make sure to try and locate several Dord recordings.
