Ossian

Formed within the mid-’70s, Ossian became among Scotland’s best-loved folk revival rings. Members have got included fiddler John Martin, Highland bagpipe virtuoso Iain MacDonald, composer and multi-instrumentalist Billy Jackson, and vocalist and guitarist Tony Cuffe. The group split up after Cuffe and Jackson transferred to the U.S. Another members have continued to be prominent in the Scottish folk picture.
