One Way Street

A forgotten drop in Vancouver, BC’s music bucket, the main one Way Road billed themselves mainly because folk-rockers. The music group cut their solitary at Vancouver Sound Documenting Studio within one hour, and had been gratified when it strike #16 locally. Using its Twilight Area electric guitar, “Tears” can be eerily similar to the Marketts’ “Out Of Restricts.” “PAY ATTENTION TO Me” can be fair-to-middling psychedelia-but unoriginally therefore. After the A PROVEN WAY Street strike a dead-end in 1968, Wanzel taken out to Toronto, became Rick Livingstone, and do an record entitled, Livingstone, I Presume. Lead ax-man Fairbairn graduated towards the Ambleside Blues Music group. Both edges of the main one Way Street one had been reissued for the Vancouver Record Enthusiasts’ Association’s Background Of Vancouver Rock and roll, Quantity 4 (VRCA 004, 1991).
