Odio a Botero

A punk rock clothing from Bogota, Colombia, Odio a Botero was founded by guitarist Jaime Angarita and vocalist Sage Rene in 2000. Both Angarita and Rene have been popular in the metropolitan areas’ punk rock and roll circles, having been an integral part of the earlier rings Defenza and Basura. Ultimately, after having been through several drummer adjustments (bassist Alejo Pinzon resolved in early, and second vocalist Carolina Cantor is at the group by 2001) which finally finished in 2005 with the session of Gregorio Merchan, the group was prepared to work on documented material, and surfaced from the studio room using the EP Omar Nelson in 2002. A full-length, Odio a Botero, adopted in 2004. Their following launch, the Lechoneria Manson EP, was a big success, eventually selling more than a million copies, and cemented the band’s status and place within their house nation. 2007 would discover Odio a Botero go back to the fore, if they released their second full-length collection, Get rid of the Cuentero.
