Oceans of Slumber

Having a lethal mixture of progressive rock and roll, death/doom/groove steel, and psychedelia, Texas-based rockers Oceans of Slumber attract from an array of affects. Created in 2011 round the skills of drummer Dobber Beverly (Insect Warfare), keyboardist Uaeb Yelsaeb, bass participant Keegan Kelly, guitarists Sean Gary and Anthony Contreras, and soulful frontwoman Cammie Gilbert, the multifaceted Houstonites released their debut LP, Aetherial, individually in 2013. The recording eventually captured the ear of Hundred years Media, who authorized the band soon thereafter. Oceans of Slumber’s 1st outing for the label, 2015’s Blue EP, noticed the group providing up an eclectic group of addresses that included tunes by Red Floyd, Candlemass, and Led Zeppelin. Winter season, the band’s second studio room long-player, adopted in early 2016.
