Having a misspelled name and an equally slack indie aesthetic, Nucular Aminals formed in 2007 when San Franciscans and former users of Marriage + Cancer guitarist Robert Comitz and keyboardist Erin Schmith relocated to Portland, Oregon to construct a fresh group with bassist Jheremy Grigsby and drummer Wiley Hickson.
