Sweet-voiced feminine rapper Nitty Scott, MC was Michigan-born and Florida-raised before shifting to Brooklyn at age 17, during her mature year at art school. Through social media, she generated an internet buzz on her behalf freestyles, and garnered a lot more compliment in 2011 when she published a mixtape entitled The Cassette Chronicles, a prelude to her Boombox Diaries, Vol. 1 EP, that was scheduled for launch that summer.
