b. Celeste Rosso, 19 Sept 1926, Italy, d. 1994. As an adolescent, Rosso ran abroad through parental pressure to pursue an educational profession. After he was discovered playing trumpet in a good night place, his parents relented, and he shaped a little orchestra that garnered a working arrangements beyond Italy to add, on one event, a tour of India. After a residency on Radio Turin, Rosso relocated to Rome where he became named a formidable mainstream jazz participant.
