American Idol semifinalist and Philadelphia indigenous Nicole Tranquillo started singing at age five and took piano lessons in kindergarten, but didn’t begin formal vocal teaching until she was 12. After showing up in high-school productions during her teenager years, Tranquillo went to Philadelphia’s University from the Arts like a tone of voice major and in addition performs in the group Spirit College.
