New Years Day

Utilizing an opulent mixture of spirited pop-punk and flamboyant, goth-tinged stadium rock and roll, New Years Day invokes the dark pageantry of artists like Evanescence, Garbage, Alkaline Trio, and Motionless in White. The music group created in 2005 when bassist and main songwriter Adam Lohrbach remaining the long-running first-generation pop-punk take action Home Grown to create his personal group. Featuring vocalist Ashley Costello (who generally goes by simply “Ash”), guitarist and keyboardist Keith Drover, guitarist Mike Schoolden, and drummer Russell Dixon, New Years Day time started gigging locally and accumulating an online business via MySpace along with other social media sites. By early 2006, these were authorized to TVT Information following a flirtation with Decaydance, Pete Wentz’s Fueled by Ramen-affiliated vanity label. A self-titled five-song EP premiered in nov 2006, offering the catchy 1st single “I HAD BEEN Best,” which garnered some MTV hype. The full-length debut by New Years Day time, My Dear, adopted in the springtime of 2007, having a track co-written with Justin Pierre of Movement Town Soundtrack. In 2008, TVT went of business, and Lohrbach and Schoolden remaining the music group. The remaining users posted new materials on social media sites in ’09 2009, and had been put into the Warped Tour this year 2010. The next year, they authorized using the Hollywood Waste materials label and released The Mechanised Heart EP. Their long-awaited second full-length, Sufferer to Villain, made an appearance in middle-2013 via Hundred years Media Records as the music group was on that summer’s Warped Tour. Bass participant Tyler Burgess and drummer Nick Rossi became a member of the group in 2014, as well as the EP Epidemic showed up later that 12 months and strike the Billboard Hard Rock and roll Albums chart.
