Montrell Darrett

Born right into a music family, gospel vocalist/songwriter Montrel Darrett started singing as a kid, associated with his mom on piano and his five performing siblings. Darrett published his first track when he was four, and created his 1st group, the real Notes, along with his four sisters and sibling. Darrett also caused other local rings in Nashville and documented several singles as an adolescent. Though he previously been raised within a spiritual family and was raised adoring gospel music, Darrett really realized the significance of God in his lifestyle when he offered within the Navy and was ministered to by another shipmate, and became an ordained minister himself by age group 24. After Darrett came back home through the Persian Gulf Battle, he felt therefore directionless that he attempted suicide, but realized his contacting in lifestyle was to pass on God’s phrase through music. Darrett became a member of gospel greats John P. Kee and Bobby Jones within the group Commissioned, with whom he performed and documented for several years. To be able to exhibit his own edition of gospel music, Darrett still left the group and released his single debut, Chronicles from the Spirit, in 1999. His various other projects include composing and producing tracks for additional gospel functions including Virtue, Sharon Riley, and Trust Chorale.
