NY City’s Modrocket was formed in 2004 by a set of Junior High college students, Sandra Nazz and Alex Niemetz, who started jamming on the toy drum arranged and a Stratocaster acoustic guitar duplicate, respectively, and quickly made a decision to start a music group. Compared to that end, they recruited fellow teenagers Alice Blythe (vocals) and Alanna Higgins (bass), and got occupied penning their personal songs, influenced by indie and garage area rock influences which range from the Stooges as well as the Velvet Underground, to Sonic Youngsters and Siouxsie as well as the Banshees. By 2007, Modrocket got recorded four of the tracks and cobbled collectively an eponymous, self-released EP, which helped pass on term of their precocious ambitions around the net, but has however to transcend the novelty of their youngsters and result in a proper documenting contract.
