Moa

After spending a lot of year being hypnotized beneath the influences cabaret style vocals of Billie Holiday, Louise Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald, Iceland native Moa ultimately followed within their footsteps like a jazz singer while still in senior high school. But after documenting a full-length recording of acid-jazz music, she experienced that it had been time to move ahead in to the genre of electronica. Getting the opportunity to lay out some vocal songs on the casual techno single adopted a cooperation with Eythor Arnalds, leading to the 1994 commercial rock task Bong. Even believed the music group reached some achievement in Iceland and press interest in Britain, Moa ultimately shifted upon Bong’s disband to start out her personal gig of merging her early affects of jazz, blues and traditional with her like for dance, techno and synth pop. Tommy Young man Records took see to Moa’s audio and released her 1st full-length “Common” in 1999.
