Mir

Their name extracted from the 1997 Russian space-station, MIR plundered ground like the glut of ambient-electronic groups enthusiastic about science-fiction/alien themes. The group’s cover from the Church’s “Beneath the Milky Method Tonight” became a moderate strike in several Europe, plus they released their debut record Welcome Spacebrothers on Eye-Q in early 1997. However, the label shut its doors immediately after.
