Mike Metheny

The older brother of Pat Metheny, Mike Metheny began being a classical trumpeter. After graduating from the School of Missouri and portion within the Military, he was inspired by his sibling to try out jazz. Currently 25, Metheny went to Berklee and shortly joined up with the faculty. He turned to flügelhorn, which he sensed best-suited his gentle build and mellow design, and has documented five albums being a head for Headfirst (1982), MCA/Impulse, and Altenburgh (1995). Located in Kansas Town, Metheny (who occasionally utilizes the EVI) in addition has documented with Karrin Allyson and it is a freelance music journalist.
