Created in Jamaica, but raised in Toronto, Earl “Mighty Pope” Heedram worked while an accountant until close friends persuaded him to begin with a profession in music. He sang for 12 years and lastly released an individual in 1977. “Heaven for the Seventh Ground” became his just strike in Canada, spawning Mighty Pope’s self-titled record debut the same calendar year.
