We were young in northern NJ and NEW YORK, guitarist, singer and songwriter Michael Forces (created Michael Murchison) learned all about the rural south, and gospel and blues music, at a age. His dad was a Vendor Sea who sailed all over the world before settling in Bayonne and starting a small shop. Forces’ father, Wayne B. Murchison, divided his time taken between northern NJ and spending summers operating the tobacco areas in NEW YORK; because of this, youthful Michael spent summers within the rural south, where males would gather every night on front side porches to try out music.
