Maybeshewill

An electro-tinged, cinematic, instrumental post-rock quintet from Leicester, Britain in the vein of Mogwai, Sigur Ros, and M83, the seed products for Maybeshewill were sown in 2005 when guitarists Robin Southby and John Helps met while learning together at School. Enlisting Tanya Byrne on bass electric guitar and Lawrie Malen on drums, the recently minted quartet released an unbiased four-song EP entitled Japanese Spy Transcript in 2006, which captured the interest of Nottingham’s Field Information. After a brief period of unrest, which noticed the departures of Byrne and Malen as well as the arrivals of drummer Adam Collins and bassist Andrew Jackson, the group started focus on its debut long-player. The causing and well-received Not really for Want of Attempting found its way to 2008, followed quickly by Sing the term Wish in Four-Part Tranquility in ’09 2009. The band’s third studio room album, Was Right here for an instant, I QUICKLY Was Gone, highlighted the abilities of Collins, Assists, Southby, Jamie Ward and Matthew Daly, the second option two relatively not used to the fold. The music group maintained that primary lineup for his or her fourth recording, the Superball Music-issued Good Youth.
