Prolific Lawrence, Kansas-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist Matt Pryor began his music career in 1994 using the ska-punk outfit Key Decoder Ring, nonetheless it would just be considered a year later on that he’d form the band that could come to define him, the GET RIGHT UP Kids. Among the leading second influx emo rock clothes of the middle-’90s/early 2000s, the group released five acclaimed studio room albums prior to going on hiatus in 2012. During his period with the GET RIGHT UP Kids, Pryor started issuing solo materials beneath the moniker the brand new Amsterdams. He provides released a set of children’s albums beneath the name the Terrible Twos, and many single recordings under his very own name, including Self-confidence Man (2008), Might Time (2012), and Wrist Slitter (2013). Nine Forty Live, a romantic live concert documented on the Lawrence Arts Middle in Lawrence, Kansas, came the following season. Self-produced and released in the Similar Eyesight label, Pryor’s 5th single LP, Memento Mori, found its way to February 2017, accompanied by a U.S. tour.
