SUNLIGHT & the Moon released a self-titled recording in 1988, but split up in Apr 1989 following the Alive; Not really Dead EP. In the meantime, Fielding and Smithies acquired produced the Reegs with Gary Lavery and a drum machine, launching an EP in 1989, and albums in 1991 and 1993 (Come back of the ocean Monkeys, Rock and roll the Magic Rock and roll). Busy through the early ’90s because of legal wrassling with Dave Fielding within the discharge of Chameleons recordings, Burgess came back to documenting in 1993 with three single albums recorded using the Sons of God, originally just a band of close friends but steadily including Neil Thin, Yves Altana, Karen Leatham, and previous friend John Lever. Zima Junction made an appearance in 1993, and after an intensive American tour, Burgess provided the live record Manchester 1993 a calendar year after it had been documented. In 1994, Springtime Blooms Tra-La became the last record documented as the Sons of God. Renamed Sometimes David, the music group documented a live record in Hamburg, Germany, but dissolved as Burgess started documenting by himself. He added Yves Altana being a songwriting partner, and utilized a lot of the associates from the Sons of God to flesh out the sound of Paradyning, released in 1995 as Tag Burgess & Yves Altana. Helped relatively by reissues from the Chameleons albums (including a re-pressing of Unusual Situations in the U.S.), the record received one of the most interest from the United kingdom press since his Chameleons times.
