Lura

Portuguese singer Lura was created Maria de Lurdes Pina Assunago in Lisbon in 1975 as the little girl of parents in the Cape Verde islands of São Tiago and Santo Antão, and raised in the Creole portion of the town. As an adolescent, she pursued a profession in sports activities education, but she still left that behind when she was employed being a dancer and back-up vocalist for Juka. After a duet with Bonga and partnerships with Tito Paris and Paulino Vieira, she was agreed upon as a single musician to Lusafrica. Although an record called In Appreciate premiered in 2002, she represents her 2004 disk, Di Korpu Ku Alma, as her first “correct” album. It had been implemented in 2006 by M’bem di Fora (I Result from A LONG WAY AWAY), which she implemented with a global tour. Four Quarters Entertainment certified and released her following Lusafrica record, Eclipse, in THE UNITED STATES on June 16, 2009, and she toured the U.S. that July.
