Lowlights

Treated primarily like a part task for singer/songwriter Dameon Lee, the Lowlights took form in 2000 with jazz vocalist and occasional collaborator la Brisa Roche. With extra music artists who are lent from additional California acts like the Batars and Mosey, the Lowlights’ thick, reverb-filled guitars and mild, melodic vocals would ultimately be captured on the self-released, self-titled debut EP in 2001. The group authorized to Darla information and in 2000 made an appearance within the label’s SOMETHING SPECIAL From a Graden to some Blossom: A Tribute to Donovan covering his early strike “Capture the Blowing wind”. In early 2003 Lowlights released their psych-country rock and roll influenced self-titled complete length. Made by previous Rocketship innovator Dustin Reske (who also added guitar, key pad and vocal support), the record presented alongside Lee on guitars, bass and keyboards of varied types and Roche on vocals, Angela Dark brown on tranquility vocals, Noah Wilson on drums, H.A. Nethery on acoustic guitar and Brooks Otis on pedal steeel.
