Lord Melody

Lord Melody (given birth to Fitzroy Alexander) had an extended profession that spanned from the first times of calypso in the past due-’40s towards the reggae from the past due-’70s. Appreciated for his witty lyricism, Lord Melody composed and documented such calypso strike music as “Berlin on the Donkey,” “Jonah as well as the Bake,” “Boo Boo Guy as well as the Creature In the Dark Lagoon,” and “Hurricane Janet.” His most significant success emerged when Harry Belafonte documented his music “Mama Appear A Boo Boo” and “Juanita.” Lord Melody eventually toured with Belafonte. In the past due-’70s, Lord Melody veered towards reggae, documenting such music as “Rastaman BE CAUTIOUS” and “Dark brown Sugar.”
