Lightning in a Twilight Hour

Bobby Wratten was a founding person in the influential indie pop Field Mice in the past due ’80s, spending a long time writing, performing, and singing unhappy tracks about love won and shed. When that music group folded, he continued to North Picture Library and Trembling Blue Superstars, carrying on on in quite similar vein. Following the last mentioned music group folded this year 2010, Wratten got time to regroup prior to starting his following project, Lightning within a Twilight Hour, in 2014. Dealing with longtime manufacturer Ian Catt, Field Mice bassist Michael Hiscock, Trembling Blue Superstars vocalist Beth Arzy, and Field Mice/North Picture Library vocalist (and motivation for most of Wratten’s tracks) Anne Mari Barker-Davies, you can realize why Lightning within a Twilight Hour distributed many sonic commonalities to Wratten’s prior projects. Starting up with Spanish label Elefant, the music group released an individual, “The Storage Museum,” in later 2014, that was accompanied by an EP, Decrease Changes, after that an LP, Fragments of the Former Moon, through the first component of 2015.
