Levitation Room

Fusing the lo-fi hype of 21st century garage area punk using the sunburnt drift of vintage psychedelia, Levitation Space was shaped in LA, California in 2012 by longtime friends Julian Porte and Gabriel Fernandez. Both had previously performed together in an organization known as the Hitz; once they split up, Porte centered on his fascination with folk music, however in period he was wanting to start a brand-new music group. After Porte submitted a message on the social media web page requesting if anyone was thinking about starting a music group, Fernandez quickly responded, plus they started exchanging notes on the shared fascination with psychedelic rock and roll. After producing the rounds being a live work and attaining the endorsement of California psych label Lollipop Information, Levitation Area self-released their initial demonstration in March 2013 (it had been afterwards reissued by Lollipop), and their first genuine EP, Thoughts of OUR VERY OWN, implemented in January 2015, released within a cassette model by hip indie rock and roll label Burger Information. By this time around, Levitation Room had been playing frequently in LA and touring the western world coast, and had been also the proprietors of Everydaze Music, a music shop and vintage clothes store that also offered as the group’s rehearsal space and bottom of functions.
