Les Taylor

Vocalist Les Taylor was raised in central Kentucky. He captured his big break when, in 1980, fellow Kentuckians Exile — clean off their number 1 hit “I wish to Kiss You AROUND” — tapped him as their brand-new contributing lead vocalist and tempo guitarist. Taylor performed using the group for some of the 10 years but remaining in 1989 to pursue a single career. He previously some success along with his single debut, “Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda.” The recording That Aged Desire adopted and was a hit. Taylor adopted it up with 1991’s Blue Kentucky Blowing wind, which presented a duet with Shelby Lynne, however the recording didn’t kick up very much interest. Taylor ultimately reunited with Exile creator J.P. Pennington through the middle to past due ’90s, and both tackled the nostalgia circuit having a rehashed backing music group.
