Latvian Radio Choir

Founded in 1940, the Latvian Radio Choir includes 24 singers, led by music director Sigvards Klava and Kaspars Putnins. The Latvian Radio Choir was produced by choral conductor Teodors Kalnins, who led the choir until his loss of life in 1962. Edgars Racevskis was music movie director from 1963 to 1986, and from 1987 to 1992, Juris Klavins offered as music movie director. The ensemble provides documented for Hyperion, BIS, GB Information, Ondine, Naïve, and ECM New Series.
