Biography
Comprised of associates Tom Keenan (lead/rhythm guitar, vocals), Pete Mulford (lead/rhythm guitar, vocals), Cathy DeMarco (drums), and a bunch of bassists over time (including Tom Carnali, Frank Schact, and Romeo Santo), the garage area/punk-pop outfit Last Stand continues to be slugging it away since 1984, if they released their first divided one with Noonday Underground for the Taang! label, “Injun Joe” and “Scum Weapons.” A three-song EP implemented in 1985, Coup D’etat, along with a calendar year later, their initial full-length album, Accepted Cuts. Further produces followed through the entire ’80s (1988’s Beliefs in Destiny and 1989’s Boston Callin) prior to the group continued hiatus with the middle-’90s. But ultimately the quintet re-formed for the sellout reunion display in 1998 at TT The Bears in Cambridge, MA, leading to their first full-length discharge in years, 2000’s Any Fight Won.
