Larry Clinton & Bea Wain

b. 17 August 1909, Brooklyn, NY, USA, d. 2 Might 1985, Deltona, Florida, USA. Clinton began as an arranger and proved helpful for the Dorsey Brothers, the Casa Loma Orchestra, Isham Jones, and Tommy Dorsey’s music group before developing his very own orchestra in 1937. With himself on trumpet, clarinet and trombone, combined with the exceptional vocalist Bea Wain, he previously a string of strikes with ‘Cry, Baby, Cry’, ‘Heart And Spirit’, ‘Deep Crimson’, and ‘My Reverie’, which he modified from a Claude Debussy theme. Clinton’s many compositions included, ‘Satan REQUIRES A Vacation’, ‘Our Appreciate’, and ‘The Dipsy Doodle’, a chart-topper for Tommy Dorsey. The music group, playing both special and golf swing music, split up in 1941 when Clinton inserted the US Military and even though they re-formed following the battle, they never attained their previous achievement. In the first 50s Clinton chosen a career being a music posting and record professional.
