One of the most popular acts associated with the Uk label Jalapeno Information, Dutch breakbeat trio Kraak & Smaak enjoyed plenty of BBC Radio 1 airplay and in addition drew huge crowds for his or her live shows, including festival looks in Glastonbury, Coachella, Miami Winter season Music Meeting, and South by Southwest. Made up of Oscar de Jong, Tag Kneppers, and Wim Plug, the trio expands when on-stage, adding Rose Spearman (vocals) and Marc Baronner (bass acoustic guitar), so when DJing instead of performing like a live music group, they’re became a member of by DJ Sargon. Located in Leiden, holland, Kraak & Smaak produced their documenting debut in 2003 on Jalapeno Information with the amount of money in the Handbag EP, the name track of that was championed by Annie Nightingale on her behalf Radio 1 present. Some additional EPs implemented on Jalapeno Information (Continue Searching, 2004; Place Fireplace to Disco, 2004; State Yeah, 2005; Profit the Handbag Remixes, 2005; Among NOWADAYS, 2005) prior to the eventual discharge from the full-length Kraak & Smaak record debut, Boogie Angst (2005), which put together every one of the previously released singles alongside brand-new material, like the forthcoming singles “Maintain Me House” and “No Sunlight in the Sky.” On the other hand, Kraak & Smaak started establishing themselves being a live action and toured the DJ circuit aswell; plus, they started doing remix function, the highlights which would be put together over the Remix Periods (2007). In 2008 the trio came back with a fresh round of studio room recordings, first launching the That’s Our Phrase EP — highlighted by “That’s My Phrase,” a melody featuring Stones Toss affiliate marketer vocalists Dudley Perkins and Georgia Ann Muldrow — accompanied by the full-length record Plastic material People. Featuring vocalist Ben Westbeech, business lead single “Press Me” became the largest Kraak & Smaak strike up to now, breaking in to the Dutch singles graph TOP and getting plenty of Radio 1 airplay.
