Biography

Created in Copenhagen early within the ’90s, Koxbox produced a number of the 1st goes toward the psychedelic trance sound that became a typical later within the decade. The duo was created by Frank E (aka Frank Madsen) and Peter Chocolate, who 1st met back 1980 while playing in rock and roll rings around Copenhagen. They truly became friends, and shown their own present on Danish radio, getting into techno by the finish from the ’80s. The very first Koxbox productions made an appearance on WTP Information, which got them agreed upon to the best Western european trance label, Harthouse. Their debut record, 1995’s Forever After, was documented by using third member Ian Ion, a studio room engineer and manufacturer. As trance exploded through the ’90s, Koxbox documented for two of the greatest labels in the picture, Blue Area Released (“Stratosfear”) and T.We.P. (“Reoscillated”). The next Koxbox record, Dragon Tales, made an appearance on Blue Area Released in 1997. Sadly, Frank E and Peter Candy’s functioning romantic relationship soured by 1999 and Koxbox seemed to contact it quits.
