Kapanga

Argentine five-piece act Kapanga started being a task called Kapanga y sus Yakarés in 1989. Even so, the music group was struggling to stay energetic and disbanded immediately after. In 1995, the group was reunited, shortening its name to Kapanga. In 1998, the band’s debut record, known as A 15 cm. de la Realidad, premiered. Later, a tune called “Un Mono Relojero” became Kapanga’s initial strike. In August of 1999, El Asado En Abbey Street came out, accompanied by Operación Rebenque, released in November, 2000. That same season, Kapanga had the chance to execute at some locations within the U.S., getting together with Latin-rock supporters in Miami, LA, NY, and Chicago.
