Philadelphia-born, Atlanta-based R&B artist Kalenna Harper entered the music market like a songwriter. From 2005, she either published or co-wrote for famous brands Charlotte Chapel (“Moodswings”), Aretha Franklin (“Place You Through to Video game”), Trina (“Allow Dem Hoes Combat,” constructed with Female Gaga and Jim Jonsin), the Pussycat Dolls (“Painted Home windows”), Ciara (“Pucker Up”), and Christina Aguilera (“Bionic”). Alongside Dawn Richard, she was area of the short-lived Diddy-Dirty Cash, who released the very best Ten record Last Teach to Paris in Dec 2010. After the group dissolved, Kalenna set up a solo profession. In Feb 2012, she released a mixtape, Chamber of Diaries, highlighted with the sharpened, buoyant, and defiant slashes “Head to Function” and “Dark Matte Vehicle.” From 2014, she produced regular appearances for the VH1 series Appreciate & HIPHOP: Atlanta — exactly the same season she released the one “Murder.” Kalenna’s second record, Dark Orchid, was ready for 2015.
